Does Loungr provide the channels?

No. Loungr is software only. We do not host, aggregate, or resell any channels, streams, or video. You connect the streaming subscription you already pay for, and Loungr is the experience built around it.

What streaming services work with Loungr?

Most standard streaming subscriptions. You add your login or connection details once in your dashboard, and Loungr wraps the experience around what you already pay for. Setup takes about a minute.

Will my guide show episode names and descriptions?

Where your service's guide is thin, Loungr fills in episode titles, season and episode numbers, and descriptions using our own guide engine. You get cable-quality guide data on top of your service's guide, without setting anything up.

Can I organize my channels the way I want?

Yes. From your Loungr dashboard you sort channels into your own groups, like Sports, Kids, or News, reorder them, and hide the ones you never watch. Save once and every TV on your account shows the same tidy lineup. We call it Channel Groups, and you set it all up on a real keyboard instead of a remote.

Do I have to clean up channel names or hunt for logos?

No. Loungr strips the prefixes and tags most services tack onto channel names, like US|, HD, and [USA], and matches logos automatically. Your guide looks like a guide, not a raw channel list.

Will my shows follow me to another TV?

Yes. Profiles, watchlists, watch history, and preferences sync from your account. Pair a new TV, sign in, and everything is there. No backup files, no rebuilding favorites by hand.

Can I pay yearly instead of monthly?

Why does a stream buffer sometimes?

Buffering almost always comes from your streaming service's server load or your home network, not the app itself. Switching to another channel is one tap away.

What about 4K and surround sound?

Whatever your stream carries, Loungr plays. We do not transcode or downgrade, so if it is 4K with 5.1, you get 4K with 5.1, assuming your TV and receiver are along for the ride.

What hardware do I need?

Loungr runs on a compact streaming device that plugs into your TV over HDMI, such as an Android TV or Google TV box you already own or can buy from any electronics retailer.

Is there a free trial?
